Wonderful food and lovely staff. Beautiful setting!
I went around 3:45 and was happy to see only one couple in the bakery. They had already ordered and were waiting on their food. I waited at the cash register to place my order... for five minutes... while two women behind the counter completed random tasks and the few people in the back carried on conversations. No one greeted me nor said "just a second please". After my watch ticked off five minutes of this, I simply left and purchased my afternoon snack from another locally owned business that was ready to actually conduct business.

Additionally, we go in weekly to pick up a container of chicken or egg salad and a loaf of fresh baked bread. Really a lovely bakery.
Christie's made us a STUNNING naked wedding carrot cake for our wedding at Beneduce Vinyards and it was exactly what we asked for! Such a very pretty cake. Thanks for helping to make our day special!
Customer service needs to be greatly improved at Christie's. I have been here more than a handful of times with almost the exact same outcome: an inexplicably long wait and rude customer service for reasonably good food. I've always given it the benefit of the doubt, citing a busy time of day, an event in Clinton, being short staffed or having indecisive customers ahead of me.
Fresh pastries, cupcakes, cookies, and bread (among other delicious baked goods) and a decent selection of salads, sandwiches,and other lunch fare. Really good coffee too. And they have a flourless chocolate walnut cookie that is super tasty!
I will not go back to Christie's.
