I've been here numerous times, always accommodating and quick to squeeze me in for service. They actually gave me a free grease job. They said to just tip the guy. It was the only thing I went for that day.
So I've been coming to that store location long before it was Mavis, since I was 17 and I'm 23 now. I've always known all the guys there as I and my family are frequents there. I called the Clinton location at 9am asking how long a tire balance, install and alignment would take. Service advisor said 2 hours, so I dropped my car off at 11 and by 1 I haven't heard anything so I called to check up. He told me it should be done by 4. So now we're up to 5 hours to do a simple job, and 3 hours past my quoted time. Anyway, I decided to leave my car there over night and take a family members vehicle back home to Bethlehem PA. So you can imagine the suprised on my face when I show up at Mavis Clinton location at 1030am the following day the they didn't even get to the alignment. Like I said, from the beginning of my driving life I've never taken my vehicles anywhere else then Mavis ( former sts) Clinton location. And I can say with 100% certainty that I won't be going back.
Earlier in the week, I pre-ordered 4 tires over the phone and scheduled an appointment for 8 am and was told it would take 60-90 minutes. I wanted to be in and out quickly so I took a reservation at opening time. I arrived promptly at 8 am and the person at the counter confirmed that it would be about 90 minutes. 45 minutes later, my car was exactly where I had parked it.
This place is awesome and much better than the business it was last year when it was DRS. The counter people are much more helpful and nicer.
Four tires and 2 hours and 42 minutes of waiting later, you have the audacity to tell me that I need an alignment?
They have offered competitive pricing on tire purchases. Their appointments are useless. I scheduled my appointment for 10am, dropped my car at 8:30am. Called at 1:30pm to find out there was one more car before me! I was told appointments are actually reservations, which means anyone who walks in get serviced; first come, first serve. I was 1.5 hours early for my "appointment"! Inexcusable. Other than that, I have no complaints.
At 2h 30m I took to pacing to preserve piece of mind. But car was off the lift and presumably the fiasco was almost over. Then at 2h 42m to be told that I need an alignment and that my car was back in the alignment bay, I put an end to the visit.

I kept my cool and was not rude to the gal behind the counter - who was a very nice person - but I expressed my dismay over the poor service. The gal apologized very nicely and told me that some of the jobs from the prior evening had run over into the morning. My response was simply then I should have been informed as such immediately upon checking in so I could plan accordingly. Simple lack of respect for the customer.
