Keep these two out of your home! They deserve NO STARS!! They “ran” my estate sale; there was no record keeping of what was sold or for how much! There was NO control over the people entering my home, it was a mad house stampede!! It is a good thing I stayed , but actually they don’t want you around. I had a two day sale, they sold items when I was not there that were not to be sold!! They are ignorant in pricing items. They might know just enough to deceive you as they did me! All they care about is their cut and they maximize that by no records and selling items which were not for sale. They sold exercise equipment for pennies on the dollar, I specifically told them what was for sale, but they sold OTHER stuff anyway and left my home a shambles. KEEP THEM OUT OF YOUR HOME, THEY ARE DANGEROUS PEOPLE!!
Awful. Blatantly unethical. I encountered Family Estate Sales when they handled a moving sale in Edison, NJ in September 2017. They had the audacity to advertise it as "a must for designer handbag lovers" though the handbags and shoes were not authentic, but fake. The woman lied to me, many times, insisting on the authenticity of the collection and pieces. Even when I pointed out details of one piece, which were inconsistent with those of the genuine designer bag, they simply insisted that I was wrong. The woman even attempted to pressure me, claiming that "someone else wants that-." The ex-homeowner told an elaborate lie about purchasing this Vuitton piece- which was clearly not authentic- in Paris. Anyway, silly me, I somehow bought two items. Both have been officially verified as fakes. How do such people sleep at night? I will report that there is a happy ending to this story: when I returned the next day with the fraudulent merchandise and a police officer, ( though I was subject to one F-you and several other insults from this classy duo), the awesome! police officer, for whom I will be writing a very positive commendation letter, was able to persuade them to refund my money. Yes, I got my money back, but I still left in tears, as they were simply mean, and nasty. Do yourself a favor, stay far away, especially If you value your time and positive energy.
Unfortunately, the older man running this company has lost all touch with reality. He has no common decency and has lost all respect for other people. He is extremely mean, rude, threatening, down right nasty, and should not be interacting with paying customers in any possible way. Sorry to say but it is time for him to hang it up and call it a day. All i can say is do not hire or shop with this company. I would not accept anything from them even if it was free. Stay far away.
